I met emerging fashion designer Tamaki Fujie during the Memy Mode event in Paris during Paris Fashion week this past September. As soon, as I saw her spring/summer 14 collection, I knew that I wanted to share my findings with you dear readers. Here at Sereine Magazine we are all about introducing emerging fashion designers and Fujie’s falls into that category.

A graduate of the famous Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design of London in 2011, Fujie started her own label TAMAKI FUJIE during the S/ S13 collection season. Her line focuses on pop luxury style featuring original hand-painted textiles including elegant fabrics for haute couture, knitted and vintage pieces.

I am in love with Fujie’s bold prints and vibrant colors that she used to create  edgy and feminine silhouettes for her fall/winter 2013 collection.

Les Petites is an established French fashion label founded in 1992 by Isabelle Bénichou. With her 21 years in the fashion industry, Bénichou has been able to create a label that stays young and modern by simply breathing new life into some of our basic and classic fashion pieces.

For fall 13, the line recently launched a luxe collection that is very parisian, chic, feminine and elegant minus the high-tag price of luxury goods.

From casual day wear (above) to the new twists on the classic French smoking (below), this collection offers a wide range of looks that will allow you to experiment with some of fall must have pieces.

Gat Rimon  is a fashion label that I stumbled upon while reading an article online.

Created in 2004 by Stéfanie Mardokh and two of her friends, Gat Rimon is a  French Label that is all about creating romantic feminine, elegant, Parisian chic and naturel garments at affordable prices that can be easily resist and transcend time.

I am in love with Gat Rimon fall 13 collection and will definitely check them out in the future.  Some pieces are splurge items but for those on a tight budget like me, you can still get some great deals during some of the brand’s most anticipated sales event.

I would definitely splurge on some of the pieces in this collection. Some of them give me a retro/1960′s vibe and the boots are to die for.

First of all, hey guys!! I know it’s been a minute but I will be back to posting intermittently and then more consistently. All the best to our readers for 2014. A big THANK YOU to Roberte for holding it down these past few months! So there were a few trends from last year that I will be continuing into the new year one of which is the fancy sweatshirt. If you’re in or around the NYC area, you know that we are experiencing sub-zero temps…yeah it sucks! I don’t know about ya’ll,  but I HATE being cold, but why sacrifice style to stay warm? I noticed quite a few brands using the traditional sweatshirt blueprint but adding stylish prints and graphics to them. I copped the below super cute sweatshirt from www.sheinside.com but I haven’t received it yet. Hope it fits! Thinking to pair it with a nice pair of dark grey jeans and oatmeal/taupe colored heels and chunky chain link necklace. What do you guys think? Are there any trends that you hope will continue into this year?
